Search Filtering

Comb provides powerful filtering capabilities to help you find exactly the business contacts and companies you're looking for.

Numeric Filters

Employee Count Filter

Filter companies by their size using predefined ranges:

  • 0-10 employees
  • 11-25 employees
  • 26-50 employees
  • 51-100 employees
  • 101-250 employees
  • 251-500 employees
  • 501-1000 employees

Revenue Filter

Filter by annual revenue:

  • Set minimum revenue threshold
  • Set maximum revenue cap
  • Use either min or max independently

Web Traffic Filter

Filter by monthly website visitors:

  • Set minimum traffic threshold
  • Set maximum traffic limit
  • Use flexible ranges

Funding Filter

Filter by total funding amounts:

  • Set minimum funding threshold
  • Set maximum funding cap
  • Use partial ranges as needed

Tag-Based Filters

Role & Keyword Tags

Use tags to filter by:

  • Job titles and positions
  • Company characteristics
  • Technologies used
  • Industry keywords

Usage:

  • Type and press Enter to add tags
  • Click X or use backspace to remove tags
  • View all active tags with the "+X more" button

Export Functionality

Search Results Export

Export your search results:

  • Click the download icon to export current results
  • Exports maintain all active filters
  • Results are exported in CSV format
  • All visible fields are included in the export

Reset Filters

Clear all active filters:

  • Click the reset icon to clear all filters
  • Removes all numeric range filters
  • Clears all active tags
  • Resets to default view

Tips & Tricks

  • Active filters are indicated by a subtle indicator dot
  • Combine multiple filters for more precise results
  • Use partial ranges in numeric filters (e.g., only minimum or maximum)
  • Monitor the total results count as you apply filters
  • Large numbers are automatically formatted for readability
  • Use the backspace key to quickly remove the last tag
  • Export your search results regularly to track changes over time
